Dr R.B.Kalia have eight years experience after my post-graduation in all aspects of Orthopedic surgery and done a large number of Trauma surgeries including Internal fixation by Interlocking nails ( reamed and unreamed) of tibia , humerus and the femur. Dr kaliaI have experience in reconstruction nailing and proximal femoral nailing of the femur.
Dr Kalia is specialize in surgeries like Total hip replacement(Uncemented and Cemented), Bipolar hip replacement unipolar hip replacements, internal fixation of hip fractures by DHS,DCS and cannulated screws, internal fixation of pelvis and complex acetabular fractures.
Over the years Dr Kalia has treated by surgery common shoulder disorders like rotator cuff tears , ruptured biceps tendon and proximal humerus fractures and acromioclavicular dislocations, spinal surgery like Anterolateral decompression ,lumbar discectomies , spinal instrumentation by pedicle screws and rod systems for trauma and spinal fusion.
Dr Kalia also have been doing ACL reconstruction of the knee for ACL deficient knees using patellar tendon bone grafts, surgically acute tears of ACL and PCL, knee arthroscopy for common knee disorders. Dr R.B.Kalia has been awarded with lots of Honors and Medals like Certificate of Honors in Anatomy, Certificate of Honors in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gold medal for having secured the highest marks in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Honors in Anatomy, Medicine, Pediatrics,
Dr Kalia have a vast experience in the orthopedic surgery as he have been chief Consultant in Orthopedics at City Hospital(Haridwar) for three years, One year as a Consultant in Orthopedics at Combined Medical Institute(Dehradun), And Now presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital(Dehradun), Along with practicing at Life Care Hospital.
